Podcasts have become a valuable source of information and entertainment for people all over the world. They fit perfectly into our busy lives, allowing us to listen while doing other things like commuting, working out, or cooking. When it comes to health and wellness topics, podcasts are an entertaining way to stay up-to-date with research and trends.

As a nutrition coach and specialist, I listen to a lot of podcasts. I find that not only are podcasts convenient, since I can listen to them in the car or as I meal prep, but they are super entertaining. Over time, I grow to feel fond of the podcasters and appreciate what they bring to the table – literally and figuratively. I also find that particular episodes can be very helpful as a resource for clients. For example, when I found a podcast episode about tricks to establish new eating habits, I shared that with a client with whom I’d discussed the importance of creating habits to reach goals.

In this article, I’ll be sharing my own—along with AFPA’s—top nutrition-related podcasts that cover a wide range of topics related to food, diet, and overall wellness. Whether you’re a nutritionist looking to stay up-to-date with nutrition information and trends, or if you are someone who wants practical advice, we’ve tried to pick something for everyone.

How did we go about choosing these podcasts? We considered the following details:

  • Latest Research: The podcasts include the latest scientific findings and trends in the world of nutrition.

Note: Some podcasts are mentioned more than once throughout the article because they fit into multiple categories.
