Not since 2019 had Katie Archibald competed on the Nationwide Monitor Championships, and in typical style, she marked her return with a powerful victory, dominating the factors race on the ultimate day.

The double Olympic champion claimed 5 of the eight sprints within the 80-lap occasion and gained a lap on the sector, roared on by the Manchester Velodrome crowd. Her closing tally noticed her win by a staggering margin of 37 factors forward of Danielle Watkinson and Cat Ferguson, the silver and bronze medallists.
